Black Women United Day of Unity

Black Women United, Day of Unity, is a grassroots initiative and movement, designed to promote sisterhood and unity among black women throughout the City of Atlanta and surrounding areas celebrated every 2nd Friday in September.
Join Real Women Atlanta Magazine and The Black Women’s Expo as we come together to celebrate US! It all begins on Friday, Sept. 13th with a rally from 10 am – 12 noon at the Georgia State Capitol Building in downtown Atlanta hosted by Senator Tonya Anderson. Following the rally, Real Women Atlanta Magazine will host a brunch from 12 noon til 2 pm with some of our closest friends and followers.
Then from 7 pm -10 pm join us at the Georgia Internation Convention Center as Real Women Atlanta Magazine and The Black Women’s Expo come together for a Unity Celebration of #BlackGirlMagic with food, entertainment, and guest speakers
The activities continue Saturday, Sept. 14th and Sunday, Sept. 15th when The Black Women’s Expo offers the full BWe Experience – a two-day empowerment event focused on our lifestyle, beauty, entertainment, and culture – where consumers can get glammed, pampered and enlightened. It’s a weekend of US you don’t want to miss out on!
