Bluenote Barbershop is a longtime dream of Owner/Barber Invee Burrell who has family roots in the area. To be in a area of the city where he basically grew up is a feeling of homecoming. Mr. Burrell has been barbering for the past 21 years. He worked for both nationally recognized barbershops Aidan Gill for Men at it’s downtown New Orleans location in the Warehouse District and for The Magazine Street Barbershop located in Garden District area of Uptown New Orleans. With the opening of Bluenote Barbershop Invee is looking to bring a great tradition of barbering to the Historic Treme.
