Highlands Community Bank (HCBC) Chicago was established in 2012 by a group of local investors who determined there was a need for a community bank in the Highlands. The belief was that a community bank could better serve the local residents and businesses and better contribute the local economy. HCBC has focused on keeping banking simple by offering products and services that are not complex and the customer can easily understand. The Bank’s core business is centered on traditional loan and deposit products.
